By entering the Sony Pictures Releasing “Pineapple Express” competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

• The promotion is open to all residents of Australia 13 years of age or over, except employees and immediate families of Sony Pictures Releasing and their associated companies and agents.
• Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
• The promotion commences on Tuesday July 1, 2008 (AEST) and closes 23.59 (AEST), Tuesday August 26, 2008.  (“the Competition Period”).
• The time of entry for online entrants will be the time at which the completed online entry form is received by the competition online database. Online entrants will be presented with a confirmation page once the completed email entry is submitted by the entrant.
• This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. All entries will be judged based on creativity & originality.
• The best valid entry, as determined by the judges, will win. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The judging will take place on Wednesday August 27, 2008 at Sony Pictures offices, Sydney 2000.
• The winner(s) will be contacted by telephone or mail.
• Supplying your valid address forms part of the conditions of entry to this promotion.
• There will be one major prize winner.
• The major prize is a return trip for four people to Byron Bay. Prize includes:
  • Return Economy flights for four (4) people from their nearest capital city to Ballina
  • Three (3) nights accommodation at the Oasis Resort Byron Bay (Treetop Holiday House)
  • Four (4) days self drive car hire
  • Surfing lesson for four (4) people
  • Fully guided mountain bike tour/experience for four (4) people

• Total maximum major prize value = $8,000. Prizes are not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

• Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices and are correct as at May 2008. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any change in prize value between now and the ultimate travel date.  The winner is not entitled to receive any money from any party if there is a difference between the maximum prize value and the actual prize value at the time of the draw.
• No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the prizes.
• Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner. The winner (and their companions) are responsible for all expenses including but not limited to spending money, transfers, meals (other than that specified), drinks (other than that specified), incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls, activities, insurance,  gratuities, services charges, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. The winner (and their companions) is also responsible for ensuring that they have travel insurance.  A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges.
• Flights leave from the winner’s nearest capital city. The winner and their travelling companions must travel on the same flight.  Travel arrangements to and from the winner’s nearest capital city airport (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth) do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner. If the winner and companions are from a regional area, travel arrangements to and from the nearest capital city do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner.
  The winner and their companion must confirm all flights and accommodation for themselves at least 6 weeks in advance of the selected travel dates. Once booked any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the prize winner. Travel and accommodation will be arranged by the licensed Travel Agent nominated by the Promoter.
• Flights and accommodation are subject to availability at the time of booking, are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other destinations. Embargo restrictions apply during certain periods.  In the event that for any reason a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. Any alterations to confirmed flights and/or accommodation details will be at the expense of the winner. Airport taxes and government levies must be paid at the time of booking.
• The accommodation package is based on four (4) people sharing a room.
• The driver must be 21 years and older with full clean licence.
• The major prize package is not to be taken over school holiday/public holidays and is valid for twelve months from competition end date.
• If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 as at the date of the draw, an adult must accompany the minor in the participation of the prize.
• There will be 30 runners up prize winners.
• Total maximum runners up prize value = $1,749.50. Prizes are not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
• There is a limit of one entry per entrant. Sony Pictures reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that fails to comply with this restriction.
• No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
• Sony Pictures Releasing reserves the right to close the competition earlier than advertised and winners will be drawn from entries received to that time.
• Entrants will be invited to opt-in to receive marketing communications from Sony. The decision by entrants to grant or withhold their consent in relation to the use of their information for marketing purposes will not affect the selection of the winners.
• All contact details entered incorrectly on the website entry form shall be deemed invalid.
